Jörn Feddersen (born September 6, 1968 ) is a German lawyer who has been a judge at the Federal Court of Justice since November 2014 .

Career

Jörn Feddersen studied law in Hamburg and Washington, DC After completing his legal training, Jörn Feddersen began his legal career in 1997 in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg . He was initially used as a trial reporter at the district courts of Hamburg and Hamburg-Harburg . In November 2000 he was appointed judge at the Hamburg District Court. From April 2002 he worked as a judge at the Hamburg-Harburg District Court. In February 2006, Feddersen was seconded to the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court . At the Higher Regional Court he worked as a judge and as a consultant in the presidential administration. At the beginning of July 2008, he was appointed judge at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg. At the Hamburg Higher Regional Court, he was a member of a civil senate that was primarily responsible for the field of commercial legal protection .

He was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice in November 2014 at the age of 46. Jörn Feddersen was assigned by the Presidium of the Federal Court of Justice to the First Civil Senate of the Federal Court of Justice, which is primarily responsible for competition , trademark and copyright law as well as transport law .
