The Hamburg-Harburg District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of eight district courts of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg .

The Hamburg-Harburg District Court is the agricultural court for the district of the Hamburg-Harburg District Court .

Judicial district

The judicial district includes the districts south of the Elbe plus the district of Rothenburgsort . The district boundary can be seen on this map  on OpenStreetMap .

Superior courts

The District Court of Hamburg and the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court (in Hamburg) are superordinate to the Hamburg-Harburg District Court.

After the revolution of 1848 was the Kingdom of Hanover , the jurisdiction of the administration separated and the patrimonial abolished. The district court was then founded with the ordinance of August 7, 1852 regarding the formation of the district courts and lower administrative authorities as a royal Hanover district court. It comprised the office of Harburg , the office of Hittfeld zu Harburg, the city of Harburg and the office of Wilhelmsburg . The district court was subordinate to the Lüneburg Higher Court . With the annexation of Hanover by Prussia in 1866 it became a Prussian district court in the province of Hanover .
