Jörn Kabisch

Jörn Kabisch (* 1971 near Munich ) is a German journalist and author .

Jörn Kabisch studied law and philosophy in Frankfurt am Main and Potsdam. After an internship at the Märkische Oderzeitung , he worked for two years as a domestic editor for the weekly newspaper Freitag . In 2001 he switched to taz and held various positions there. As an editor for special tasks, he was responsible for the regionalization of the local parts in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hamburg and Bremen. Most recently, he was head of the taz specialty department. In 2008 he moved to the weekly newspaper Der Freitag and developed the concept of interlinking print and online for its relaunch. Jörn Kabisch was the newspaper's deputy editor-in-chief until 2012.

Jörn Kabisch has regularly published gastronomy columns in the taz and on Freitag (“Angezapft”, “Der Koch”) since 2006. In 2018 his first book "Mit Herd und Seele" was published.
