Jörn Littkemann

Jörn Littkemann (* 1964 in Kiel ) is a German economist .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1983, he did basic military service from 1983 to 1984 . From 1984 to 1987 he did an apprenticeship and worked as a specialist in tax and business advisory professions. From 1987 to 1992 he studied business administration at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (graduated in 1992 with a degree in business administration). From 1993 to 1998 he was a research assistant with Jürgen Hauschildt at the chair for organization in Kiel and also worked in several tax advisory firms in 1997. After receiving his doctorate in 1997 as a Dr. sc. pol. on "Innovations and Accounting" at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, he was from 1998 to 2000 research assistant to Gerhard Schewe at the chair for business administration, especially organization, personnel and innovation at the University of Münster . From 2000 to 2003 he was academic advisor to Gerhard Schewe at the chair for business administration, especially organization, personnel and innovation in Münster . After completing his habilitation in 2003 on "Organization of Participation Controlling"; Awarded the venia legendi for business administration by the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, he has been teaching since 2003 as holder of the chair for business administration, especially corporate accounting and controlling at the FernUniversität in Hagen .

His areas of work are corporate controlling, design of controlling systems and instruments, investment and group controlling, balance sheet analysis and policy, project and innovation management and sports management and controlling.
