Jörne Sprehe (born January 10, 1983 in Fürth ) is a German show jumper .

Career

At the age of three, Sprehe got her first pony and at the age of nine she became the Franconian pony master. She got into show jumping through her sister and won the German Young Rider Championships at the age of 21 . This was followed by international tournaments abroad and in Germany. In the age groups under 21 years of age, she won eight medals at German championships and European championships.

Sprehe has been running a riding facility in Fürth since 2004, where she focuses on training horses and riders. In 2008 she won the Nations Cup at the CSIO 4 * -W in Bucharest on Orlando Plus together with Rüdiger Renner , Martin Schaufler and Tobias Bachl and a year later she won the Grand Prix of Bucharest (CSI 2 * -W) with Giardina . At the end of 2011 she won the World Cup competition in Poznań with Contifax , and in June 2012 she won the World Cup competition in Lipica. She achieved further great victories with Luna in the Pforzheim Grand Prix 2015, the Hesse Grand Prix 2015 (CSI 3 * Frankfurt) and the Olomouc World Cup competition in 2016 (CSI 3 * -W). In July 2016 she was part of the German team at the Nations Cup in Šamorin (CSIO 3 *), which took third place here.

Private

Sprehe comes from a family that has been associated with equestrian sports for many years. Her cousin Kristina Bröring-Sprehe and her cousin Jan Sprehe , among others, are successful in sport . Jörne Sprehe's daughter was born in mid-January 2013.
