Jørgen-Ole Nyboe Nielsen

Jørgen-Ole "Dino" Nyboe Nielsen (born March 9, 1948 , † January 30 or 31 , 2016 ) was a Danish politician ( Demokraatit ) and a member of the Greenland Parliament.

Life

Jørgen-Ole Nyboe Nielsen comes from Denmark and came to Pituffik in 1974 as a radar technician . In 1998 he was elected to the Citizens' Council of the unincorporated Pituffik area, which he later chaired as de facto mayor. In 2002 he was a founding member of Demokraatit. In the elections in 2002, 2005 and 2009, he was one of the party's successors. In March 2008 he succeeded Palle Christiansen . From 2012 to 2013 he was a member of the Inatsisartut as a replacement for Niels Thomsen , after Peter Borg, who was placed in front of him, rejected the parliamentary seat. After retiring in 2013, he returned to Denmark, where he died in early 2016 at the age of 67.
