Palle Christiansen (born June 25, 1973 in Taastrup ) is a Danish - Greenlandic politician ( Demokraatit ) and dentist .

Life

Palle Christiansen is the son of a Danish father and a Greenland mother. He was born in Denmark and moved to Nuuk as a child and to Sisimiut a year later . At times he went to school again in Albertslund in Denmark and eventually graduated from high school in Allerød . He then studied dentistry from 1996 at the University of Copenhagen . He completed his master's degree in 2001 and moved to Nuuk, where he worked as a dentist from then on until he returned to Sisimiut after a year to continue working there until 2009.

In 2002 he was first elected to the Inatsisartut . In 2005 he was re-elected and also elected to the council of the municipality of Sisimiut . After the administrative reform, he was a member of the Qeqqata Kommunia Council from 2009 . In the same year he became Minister of Finance in Naalakkersuisut under Kuupik Kleist and in 2011 he moved to the Ministry of Education, Research and Nordic Cooperation.

He is married with three children and lives in Denmark again.
