Jørgen Christensen-Dalsgaard

Jørgen Christensen-Dalsgaard (born October 6, 1950 ) is a Danish astronomer who specializes in asteroseismology and helioseismology . He is considered a pioneer in this area. He is a professor at Aarhus University .

Christensen-Dalsgaard received his PhD in 1978 from Douglas Gough at Cambridge University . In 1984 he became a lecturer, then research professor and in 2001 professor in Aarhus.

He is involved in the Kepler mission . He is a member of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences .
