Júlio Regufe Alves (born June 29, 1991 in Póvoa de Varzim ) is a Portuguese football player .

Club career

Alves went through the youth teams of Varzim SC , FC Porto and Rio Ave FC . At Rio Ave FC he signed his first contract as a professional football player. Shortly after his signature, he was awarded to GD Ribeirão and returned to Rio Ave FC in the second half of the same season. For the 2011/12 season Alves moved to Spain to Atlético Madrid . He did not play a competitive game for the Spaniards because he went to Beşiktaş Istanbul in Turkey just before the end of the summer transfer period .
