The Jewish elementary school in Bretten , a town in the district of Karlsruhe in northern Baden-Württemberg , was an elementary school that was founded in 1835. It was maintained by the Bretten Jewish Community . The Baden Jewish edict of 1809 allowed the Jewish communities to build their own schools, provided they covered the costs.

The school was located on Engelsberg Street, where the synagogue and the rabbi house also stood. The Jewish elementary schools were dissolved with the introduction of simultaneous schools in the Grand Duchy of Baden in 1876. The Jewish school in Bretten was continued as a religious school until the 1920s.
