Jewish elementary school Hainstadt (Buchen)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Jewish elementary school in Hainstadt , a district of Buchen in the Neckar-Odenwald district in northern Baden-Württemberg , was an elementary school that was founded in 1820 and closed in 1869. It was maintained by the Hainstadt Jewish community . The Baden Jewish edict of 1809 allowed the Jewish communities to build their own schools, provided they covered the costs.

The Hainstadt Jewish elementary school, which was dissolved in 1869, was continued as a religious school.
