The Jewish community in Třeboň (German Wittingau ), a Czech town in Okres Jindřichův Hradec in the South Bohemian region , was founded in the middle of the 19th century.

history

The Jewish families had moved here from the surrounding villages and formed a religious community. This reached its highest numerical level around 1900. In 1930 the Jewish community consisted of only about 45 people. In the course of the 1930s the community disbanded.
