The Jewish community in Nová Bystřice (German Neubistritz ), a Czech town in Okres Jindřichův Hradec in the South Bohemian Region , existed since the end of the 19th century.

A Jewish cemetery and a synagogue were laid out or built around 1875. These institutions existed even before the official constitution of the religious community.
