Jewish cemetery (Abensberg)
The Jewish cemetery in Abensberg , a town in the Kelheim district in Lower Bavaria , existed in the Middle Ages . The Jewish cemetery , which was first mentioned in 1449, was in the Judenpühel corridor . There are no remains of the cemetery.
After the Jews were expelled in the second half of the 15th century, the cemetery was probably destroyed and the tombstones built in .
The cemetery was originally outside the city on the road to Offenstetten on Straubinger Strasse. The area was built on in the second half of the 20th century.
