The mountain Rotes Hörnle is 445 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Steigerwald . It is located in the western part of the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .

Geographical location

The mountain is about as high as the Schießberg to the west (455 m above sea level). Due to its height, the mountain protrudes far into the approx. 100 lying flat landscape, so the mountain can be seen from afar. It is the second highest mountain in the municipality of Oberscheinfeld after the Schießberg . The village of Stierhöfstetten lies at the foot of the mountain .
