Piotrówka [ pjɔˈtrufka ] ( German Petersberg ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . He belongs to the Gmina Mrągowo ( rural community Sensburg ) in the powiat Mrągowski (district Sensburg ).
Geographical location
Piotrówka is located west of the Ixtsee ( Polish Jezioro Juksty ) in the southern center of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , four kilometers east of the district town of Mrągowo ( German Sensburg ).
history
The place Petersberg , which was founded in 1825, was actually just one large farm . In 1839 Petersberg was mentioned as a hereditary property with 2 fireplaces for 15 residents. The place was living space in the rural community of Neu Muntowen, which was added to the rural community of Muntowen ( Muntowo in Polish ) around 1928 . The municipality of Muntowen - renamed "Muntau" in 1938 - belonged to the Sensburg district in the Gumbinnen district (from 1905: Allenstein district ) in the Prussian province of East Prussia .
As a result of the war, Petersberg came to Poland in 1945 with all of southern East Prussia and received the Polish form of the name "Piotrówka". The place became a part of Muntowo and was also included in the Schulzenamt ( Polish Sołectwo ). It is a village within the network of Gmina Mrągowo (Town Sensburg ) in mrągowo county (Kreis Sensburg ) until 1998, the province Olsztyn (Olsztyn) , since the Warmia and Mazury belong.

Petersberg was parish until 1945 in the Protestant parish church of Sensburg in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Roman Catholic St. Adalbert Church of the district town in the Diocese of Warmia . Even today, both denominations are related to the district town of Mrągowo .

There is no rail connection for Piotrówka since the nearest train station in Mrągowo was decoupled from all rail traffic.
In terms of road traffic, Piotrówka is located on a side road that connects Wola Muntowska (Muntowenwolla) not far from Polish state road 59 (formerly German Reichsstraße 140 ) along the riverside road to Jezioro Juksty with Probark (Neu Proberg) at state road 16 ( Reichsstraße 127 ).
