Notyst Dolny [ ˈnɔtɨst ˈdɔlnɨ ] is a place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , which belongs to the Gmina Mrągowo ( rural municipality Sensburg ) in the powiat Mrągowski ( Sensburg district ).

Geographical location

The settlement ( Polish osada ) Notyst Dolny is located between Użranki (Königshöhe) and Notyst Mały (Klein Notisten) in the eastern center of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. The district town of Mrągowo (Sensburg) is eight kilometers to the south-west.

history

Nothing is known about the history of Notyst Dolny before 1945, not even a German name.

Notyst Dolny belongs to the Schulzenamt ( Polish sołectwo ) Notyst Mały (Klein Notisten) , which also includes Notyst Wielki (Groß Notisten) . Thus it is a place in the association of Gmina Mrągowo (rural municipality Sensburg ) in powiat Mrągowski (district Sensburg ), before 1998 the Olsztyn Voivodeship , since then part of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .

religion

Ecclesiastically Notyst Dolny is both Protestant - and Catholic side after Użranki (King height) oriented, where the once Protestant parish church is now Catholic property, while the Protestant church members form their own community, but the parish church in Mrągowo subordinate.

traffic

Notyst Dolny can be reached via a side road from Użranki , which in turn is connected via Muntowo (Muntowen , 1938 to 1945 Muntau) and Zalec (Salza) to the Polish national road DK 59 (former German Reichsstraße 140 ).

Individual evidence

  1. The equation with the former Gutsort Nieder Notisten has no basis, because the Polish Notyst Dolny lies between the former Klein Notisten and Königshöhe and not, as German sources show, one kilometer south of Groß Notisten (Notyst Wielki), to whose local district it is belonged before 1945. It is reasonable to assume that Notyst Dolny was created after 1945 and that it was given its name, which only seems confusing when you look at the German sources
