Dobroszewo [ dɔbrɔˈʂɛvɔ ] ( German  Freynowen , 1938–1945 Freihof ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . He belongs to the Gmina Mrągowo ( rural community Sensburg ) in the powiat Mrągowski (district Sensburg ).

Geographical location

Dobroszewo is located in the southern center of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , seven kilometers southwest of the district town of Mrągowo ( German  Sensburg ).

history

The Erbfreigut Frey Owen (also free Owen ) was founded as a small farmhouse 1,823th Nine residents were registered here in 1867, ten in 1885 and nine in 1905. The small place was until 1945 a place to live in the municipality Grabowen (1938-1945 Grabenhof , Polish Grabowo ) in the district of Sensburg in the administrative district of Gumbinnen (from 1905 administrative district of Allenstein ) in the Prussian province of East Prussia . On June 3 (officially confirmed on 16 July) 1938 Frey Owen was on political and ideological grounds of Avwehr foreign-sounding place names in Freihof renamed .

In consequence of the war the place in 1945 arrived with the entire southern East Prussia to Poland and is a village within the today Gmina Mrągowo (Town Sensburg ) in mrągowo county (Kreis Sensburg ) until 1998, the Olsztyn Province (Olsztyn) , since the Warmia and Mazury belong .

Freynowen resp. Freihof was incorporated into the Protestant parish church of Sensburg in the church province of East Prussia of the Protestant Church of the Old Prussian Union and into the Catholic Church of St. Adalbert Sensburg in the Diocese of Warmia . Today Dobroszewo belongs to the Evangelical side of the St. Trinity Church in Mrągowo in the Masuria diocese of the Evangelical Augsburg Church in Poland . On the Catholic side, the place is included in the parish Grabowo (Grabowen , 1938-1945 Grabenhof) in the Archdiocese of Warmia in the Polish Catholic Church .

Dobroszewo is conveniently located on Voivodship Road 600 , which connects the two district towns of Mrągowo (Sensburg) and Szczytno (Ortelsburg) with their regions. There is no rail connection.
