Jewish cemetery (Hoppstädten)
The Hoppstädten Jewish Cemetery in Hoppstädten , a district of the municipality of Hoppstädten-Weiersbach in the Birkenfeld district in Rhineland-Palatinate , is a protected cultural monument .
The Jewish cemetery east of the village on the slope of the Eborner Berg was occupied before 1770 and until 1958. There are 168 gravestones in the 2410 m² cemetery , which was occupied by the Jewish communities in Hoppstädten, Baumholder and Birkenfeld until the end of the 19th century . It is the largest Jewish cemetery in the wider area.
