The Jewish cemetery in Aerzen , a town in the Hameln-Pyrmont district in Lower Saxony , is a protected cultural monument .

The 649 square meter cemetery served the Jews from Aerzen, Groß Berkel and Reher as their final resting place. It is located on the "Kesselbreite" on Reherweg. There are still seven tombstones on it today .

history

The cemetery was occupied from 1897 to 1927. It was destroyed in 1938 and only partially restored after 1945.
