The Jewish cemetery in Břeclav (German Lundenburg ), a South Moravian town in the Czech Republic , was established in the second half of the 17th century. The Jewish cemetery has been a protected cultural monument since 1988 .

history

The cemetery was leveled under communist rule. In recent years, the city of Breclav had the cemetery area with its approximately 400 gravestones ( Mazevot ) restored. The tombstones with Hebrew , German and Czech inscriptions have a rich ornamentation .
