The Jewish cemetery in Brtnice (German Pirnitz ), a town in Okres Jihlava in Kraj Vysočina ( Czech Republic ), was built in the second half of the 16th century.

history

The Jewish cemetery , located far from the site, has been a protected cultural monument since 1988 . The cemetery was created as a replacement for the older cemetery (near the parish church), which had been leveled on the instructions of the authorities. There are still around 250 gravestones ( Mazevot ) in the cemetery today .
