Irreville is a French municipality with 467 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Eure in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Évreux and the municipality of Évreux Portes de Normandie .

geography

The municipality is located about ten kilometers north of Évreux on the eastern edge of the plateau of Le Neubourg . Here the plateau breaks down to the valley of the river Eure by about 100 meters. The area is characterized by the lack of surface running waters, which is due to the chalky subsoil. Irreville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Heudreville-sur-Eure and Cailly-sur-Eure in the north, Clef Vallée d'Eure in the east, Reuilly in the southeast, Dardez in the south, Le Boulay-Morin in the southwest and La Chapelle-du-Bois- des-Faulx in the west.
