Sassey is a commune of 192 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Eure in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Évreux and the canton of Évreux-3 (until 2015 Évreux-Est ). The inhabitants are called Sacéens .
geography
Sassey is located in northern France in the east of the Eure department, about eight kilometers east-northeast of the city center of Évreux . Sassey is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Reuilly in the north, Fontaine-sous-Jouy in the northeast, Gauciel in the east and southeast, Huest in the south and west, Gravigny in the west and Normanville in the northwest.
In the southern municipality is the air force base 105 ( Base aeriénne 105 Évreux-Fauville ).
