Chavigny-Bailleul is located in the eastern part of the Eure department, about 80 kilometers west of Paris . Chavigny-Bailleul is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chambois in the north and west, Jumelles in the north, Les Authieux in the east and northeast, Coudres in the south and southeast, Moisville in the south and southwest and Mesnils-sur-Iton in the southwest.

Route nationale 154 runs through the western part of the municipality .
