Illiers-l'Évêque is located about 25 kilometers south-southeast of Évreux on the Coudanne River . Illiers-l'Évêque is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Coudres in the north and north-west, Lignerolles in the north, Marcilly-sur-Eure in the east, Courdemanche in the south, La Madeleine-de-Nonancourt in the south-west and Marcilly-la-Campagne in the west.
