Burey is a French commune of 400 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Eure in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Évreux and the canton of Conches-en-Ouche and the Pays de Conches community . The inhabitants are called bureyois .

geography

Burey is about 16 kilometers west-southwest of the city center of Évreux . Burey is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Faverolles-la-Campagne in the north, Portes in the north and northeast, Saint-Élier in the east, Conches-en-Ouche in the south and Louversey in the west.
