La Baronnie is a French municipality with 718 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure in the region of Normandy ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Évreux and the canton of Saint-André-de-l'Eure .

On January 1, 2016, the municipality was formed as Commune nouvelle from the previously independent municipalities Garencières and Quessigny . The administrative headquarters are in Garencières.

La Baronnie is located about 15 kilometers south-southeast of the city center of Évreux . La Baronnie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Luc in the north and north-west, Le Val-David in the north, Saint-Germain-de-Fresney in the east and north-east, Fresney in the east, Saint-André-de-l'Eure in the south, La Forêt-du-Parc to the west and south-west and Prey to the west and north-west.
