Fontaine-sous-Jouy is about ten kilometers northeast of Évreux . Fontaine-sous-Jouy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Vigor in the north and north-west, Autheuil-Authouillet in the north and north-east, Chambray in the east, Jouy-sur-Eure in the south, Gauciel and Sassey in the south-west and Reuilly in the west.
