Le Val d'Hazey is a French commune with 5,556 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Les Andelys and the canton of Gaillon .

It was created with effect from January 1, 2016 as Commune nouvelle through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities of Aubevoye , Sainte-Barbe-sur-Gaillon and Vieux-Villez , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Aubevoye.
