Jouy-sur-Eure is about thirteen kilometers east-northeast of Évreux . Jouy-sur-Eure is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Fontaine-sous-Jouy in the north, Chambray in the northeast, Hardencourt-Cocherel in the south and east, Miserey in the southwest and Gauciel in the west.
