Villegats is a French commune of 350 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Eure in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Les Andelys (until 2017 Évreux ) and the canton of Pacy-sur-Eure . The inhabitants are called Villegatois .

Villegats is located about 21 kilometers east-southeast of Évreux . Villegats is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chaignes in the north and north-west, Chaufour-lès-Bonnières in the north-east, Cravent in the south and east, Breuilpont in the south-west and Hécourt in the west and south-west.
