Merey is a French municipality with 195 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Eure in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Les Andelys (until 2017 Évreux ) and the canton of Pacy-sur-Eure . The inhabitants are called Mereyens .

geography

Merey is located about 23 kilometers east-southeast of Évreux . The Eure limits the municipality to the east. Merey is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Plessis-Hébert in the north and northwest, Gadencourt and Hécourt in the northeast, Breuilpont in the east, Neuilly in the south and southeast, Épieds in the south and La Boissière in the west.
