It belongs to the arrondissement of Les Andelys and the canton of Romilly-sur-Andelle (until 2015: canton of Gisors ). The inhabitants are called Bouchevillois .

Bouchevilliers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Neuf-Marché in the north and west, Saint-Pierre-es-Champs in the north-east, Talmontiers in the east and south-east, Amécourt in the south, Mainneville in the south-west and Mesnil-sous-Vienne in the west and south-west.
