It belongs to the arrondissement of Les Andelys and the canton of Romilly-sur-Andelle (until 2015 Lyons-la-Forêt ). The inhabitants are called Bosquetinois .

Bosquentin is about 45 kilometers east-southeast of Rouen . Bosquentin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fleury-la-Forêt in the north and west, Bézancourt in the east and northeast, Bézu-la-Forêt in the east and southeast, Morgny in the south and Lilly in the west.
