The entrance is directly on Von-Coels-Straße, Aachen , in the direction of Stolberg .
Tombstones

The Eilendorf Jewish cemetery is located in the Eilendorf district of the city of Aachen in the Aachen city region ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The Jewish cemetery was occupied from before 1860 to 1935. There are still 15 tombstones ( mazewot ), a grave border and a memorial plaque. The Am Bayerhaus cemetery used to belong to the city of Stolberg . It is on the edge of the city limits. He is looked after by the city of Aachen, which is also the owner of the cemetery property.

The names of the people buried there have been preserved on the 15 tombstones and one grave setting.

Seven people have been buried on the left, namely:

  • Jackob Gottschalk, d. 1935
  • Helene Katz born Salmang, born June 27, 1854; died March 9, 1920
  • Meyer Katz, born August 19, 1850; died November 25, 1923
  • Mrs. Andreas Wallach b. Menken * January 18, 1857; died May 5, 1924
  • Moses Salmang, d. November 18, 1898
  • Salomon Salmang, born October 19, 1819; died February 24, 1900
  • Mrs. Menken, d. November 22, 1875

There is also a commemorative plaque on the left with the inscription: “In memory of Henriette Weisbecker geb. Katz born in Eilendorf December 29, 1893 deported to Theresienstadt July 25, 1942 "

On the right side nine people have been buried, namely:

  • Karoline Herz born Menken, * December 18, 1859; died February 14, 1925
  • Andreas Wallach, June 27, 1851; died February 26, 1905
  • Jetta Menken born Weil, * July 8, 1832; died May 16, 1906
  • Sibilla Salmang née Marx, born November 14, 1831; died May 16, 1906
  • Emma Herz, born December 25, 1895; died December 20, 1918
  • Salomon Salmang, died December 8, 1886 at the age of 60
  • Isack Menken, died April 18, 1891 at the age of 66
  • Sophie Salmang b. Marx; died 1865 at the age of 78
  • Aron Salmang, d. 1860 at the age of 91

The tombstones and the sockets are made of indigenous bluestone . The cemetery is approximately 30 × 15 meters and is now overgrown with grass and surrounded by a hedge.
