The Eschweiler Jewish Cemetery is located in the city center of Eschweiler at the corner of Talstrasse and Grachtstrasse in the Aachen region ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The cemetery was occupied between 1820 and 1941. Today there are still 80 tombstones ( mazewot ).

The burial site was completely destroyed between 1942 and 1945. As a result, the dead were exhumed in 1956 and reburied in the cemetery in the pump district. After protests by the Jewish community in Aachen , the cemetery in Talstrasse was restored and the dead were reburied. The tombstones are laid side by side on the floor.

The cemetery is registered under No. 192 in the list of monuments of the city of Eschweiler.
