The Jewish community in Kirchberg set up its own cemetery before 1830. It has an area of ​​about 25.00 acres . Today there are still 67 tombstones ( Mazewot ).

The last burial took place in 1937. The grandchildren of one of the people buried there erected a tombstone after 1945 with the following inscription:

“This is where the last witness of a more than 600 year old Jewish community in Kirchberg rests. Johannette Gerson, b. Isak. 8.7.1846 - 23.9.1937. This tomb is erected by the grandchildren in honor of all former members of the Kirchberg Jewish community who fell victim to Nazi persecution. "
