The Milevsko Jewish Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery in Milevsko (German Mühlhausen ) in the Okres Písek in the Jihočeský kraj (German: South Bohemia ) region in the Czech Republic .

history

The cemetery is on the northeastern outskirts, about one kilometer from the monastery . It was founded around 1714 and expanded in the 19th century; the mourning hall dates from 1928. The last funerals took place in the 1940s.

In the cemetery there is a memorial stone with the names of the Jewish victims of the Nazi regime . It was installed here after the end of World War II .
