The Salzkotten Jewish Cemetery is located in the town of Salzkotten in the Paderborn district in North Rhine-Westphalia . As a Jewish cemetery , it is a listed building and has been entered in the list of monuments under monument number 17 since November 5, 1985 . 84 tombstones have been preserved in the cemetery in Schützenstrasse, which was occupied from 1827 to 1944 .

Old Jewish Cemetery

There are no more tombstones in the old Jewish cemetery, which was next to the mill on the left side of the Heder on the terrain of today's small park, to the right of today's weir. This burial place, which was probably occupied from the 17th to the beginning of the 19th century, had to be sold in 1937. Nothing is known about the whereabouts of the tombstones.
