Jewish cemetery (Zündorf)
The Zündorf Jewish cemetery is located in the Zündorf district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia . As a Jewish cemetery , it is a monument and has been registered in the list of monuments since May 29, 1990 under monument number 5576 .
Before the Zündorf Jews could create their own burial ground, they buried their dead in Deutz . The cemetery on the corner of Gartenweg and Hasenkaul was occupied from 1923 to 1942. It was also used by the Jews living in Wahn and Porz . In 1944 the burial place was forcibly sold to the municipality of Porz. Six tombstones have been preserved.
