Dettensee Jewish cemetery
The Jewish cemetery Dettensee is a Jewish cemetery in Dettensee , a district of the city of Horb am Neckar . The place is located in the south-eastern part of the Freudenstadt district in Baden-Württemberg .
The 1261 m² cemetery is located east of Dettensee on Brandweg. It was laid out in 1830 after the deceased of the local Jewish community , which had existed since the 17th century, had been buried in neighboring Mühringen . Burials at the Dettensee cemetery took place between 1831 and 1934, and in 1909 the cemetery was surrounded by a stone wall. 159 tombstones have been preserved.
