The Jewish war memorial at the profane synagogue in Marktbreit , a town in the Lower Franconian district of Kitzingen , was erected after the First World War . The war memorial in Schustergasse is a protected cultural monument .

The memorial was erected in honor of the soldiers who died in the First World War . Under the Hebrew heading and a helmet is the dedication: Dedicated to the memory of those who left our community in the war of 1914-1918. Oh, the heroes fell in war! (Samuel II. Chapter 1 verse 25 and 27)
