Jürg Häusermann

Jürg Häusermann (* 1951 in Winterthur ) is a professor emeritus for media analysis and production at the University of Tübingen .

Life

Häusermann studied German, Russian language and literature and French linguistics at the University of Zurich and the Moscow University of Linguistics. In 1977 he did his doctorate in Zurich under Harald Burger and then worked as a consultant in training and further education for journalists at radio and television DRS . From 1985 to 1989 he was a substitute professor at the University of Trieste in Italy. Jürg Häusermann has been a professor in Tübingen since 1993; In 2017 he retired.

From 2009 to 2012 Häusermann was a member of the jury for the LBS Wegweiser Prize.
