Jürgen Brümmer

Jürgen Brümmer (born December 8, 1964 in Stuttgart ; † February 25, 2014 in Ostfildern ) was a German gymnast and sports physiotherapist .

He won nine German championship titles. Brummer took in 1987 and 1989 at World Gymnastics Championships in part and was also a member at the European Gymnastics Championships in 1987 and at the 1988 Summer Olympics for the West German team.

Served as sports physiotherapist Brümmer 1992, the junior national team of gymnasts from 1992 to 1994, the handball team TSV Scharnhausen and from 1996 to 1998, then in the 2nd Bundesliga playing Stuttgarter Kickers .

On the night of February 25, 2014, Brümmer committed suicide . A short time later, his 15-year-old son, who had been in need of care since a serious accident in 2012, was found dead. Brümmer left behind his wife and another son.
