Jürgen Eichler

Jürgen Eichler (born February 4, 1942 ) is a German laser physicist.

Eichler studied physics in Berlin, Karlsruhe and Freiburg im Breisgau . After graduating in 1966, he did his doctorate in Karlsruhe in 1969 and obtained his habilitation in 1972 at the TU Berlin. He is a professor at the Technische Fachhochschule Berlin , where he has been teaching laser technology and technical physics since 1973.

He has written several books on lasers , partly with his brother Hans Joachim Eichler , and has also written several physics textbooks for engineers and minor physics students.
