Jürgen Heddinghaus (born December 17, 1954 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
The defender Juergen Heddinghaus comes from the youth of the FC Schüttorf 09 and began his career at Eintracht Nordhorn in the Oberliga Nord . In the summer of 1977 he moved to the second division club SC Herford . He made his second division debut on August 6, 1977 in a 1-1 draw between Herford and Wuppertaler SV . After relegation at the end of the 1977/78 season, Heddinghaus succeeded with his team in direct resurgence as champions of the Oberliga Westfalen . In the summer of 1981, Heddinghaus and his team failed to qualify for the single-track 2nd Bundesliga. For the Herford, he completed 68 second division games, scoring nine goals and played for the club until the late 1980s.
In the 1990/91 season Heddinghaus coached FC Gütersloh and led his team to promotion to the Oberliga Westfalen.
