Jürgen Heyne

Jürgen Heyne (* 1938 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German butcher and association official.

Career

Heyne completed an apprenticeship as a butcher in Offenbach from 1954 to 1957. In 1963 he passed the master butcher examination and started his own business in Frankfurt in 1970. Today he is the owner of the Frankfurt butcher and bakery school.

From 1984 to 1994 he was chairman of the butchers' guild in Frankfurt within the professional bodies. Since 1984 he has been a member of the general assembly and from 1989 to the board of the Rhine-Main Chamber of Crafts. In 1994 he was elected President. In this role he initiated the Renntage des Handwerks , an information event for schoolchildren about career paths in the craft on the horse racing track in Frankfurt-Niederrad, and was a co-founder of the Rhein-Main vocational training fair.

In 1999 he was elected President of the Working Group of the Hessian Chamber of Crafts and the President of the Hessian Crafts Day. In the same year he became a member of the Presidium of the Central Association of German Crafts . In 2006 he resigned from his offices.

From 1999 to the beginning of 2003 he was an honorary city councilor in Frankfurt am Main.
