Jürgen Paape is a German musician in the field of electronic music .

Paape publishes mainly under his real name, but also under pseudonyms such as Areal , Care , FINE and Reval .

Together with Wolfgang Voigt and his brother Reinhard Voigt and Jörg Burger , Paape founded a record store on March 1, 1993 under the name Delirium in Cologne, which was later renamed Kompakt and from which the label Kompakt emerged . In October 1998 Paape's single Triumph with the catalog number KOM1 was the first single on Kompakt.

His best-known piece is As Far As Nie , published in 2002 , which Daliah Lavis may be sampling tomorrow . The piece has been re-released several times, including on Low Spirit . He also used samples from Marianne Rosenberg's Was Can I Do and Others.

In 2010 his first album was released with compilation , which is a compilation of mostly already published pieces.

In contrast to the other Kompakt founders, Paape does not appear as a DJ or live act and is also not available for interviews and press photos.
