In October 1998 Paape's single Triumph with the catalog number KOM1 was the first single on Kompakt.
His best-known piece is As Far As Nie , published in 2002 , which Daliah Lavis may be sampling tomorrow . The piece has been re-released several times, including on Low Spirit . He also used samples from Marianne Rosenberg's Was Can I Do and Others.
In 2010 his first album was released with compilation , which is a compilation of mostly already published pieces.
In contrast to the other Kompakt founders, Paape does not appear as a DJ or live act and is also not available for interviews and press photos.
