Reinhard Voigt is a German musician and DJ in the field of electronic music .

Voigt publishes solo under his real name and pseudonyms such as Klar , Kron , Pentax , SRI , Sturm or Sweet Reinhard . Together with Michael Mayer and Tobias Thomas he published as Forever Sweet in the late 1990s .

Together with his brother Wolfgang Voigt , Reinhard Voigt is considered the founder of minimal techno in Germany and one of the most important representatives of the Cologne techno scene.

Together with his brother Wolfgang as well as Jörg Burger and Jürgen Paape , Voigt founded the record store Delirium in Cologne on March 1, 1993 , which was later renamed Kompakt and from which the label Kompakt emerged .

In 1994 he released his first EP M on Profan under the pseudonym Sweet Reinhard . His first of 8 studio albums to date was released under the alias Pentax in 1997.
